
iClickStudios (formerly iClickSmiles) was founded in 2003 by Vince Tarry, and it didn’t take long for the company to make a name for itself. Between offering multiple poses and photos, along with an entirely online ordering system, iClickStudios revolutionized the school photography industry.

You will never pre-order for photos you aren’t able to see beforehand. All photos are taken outside, utilizing your school’s natural scenery – no plain, colored backgrounds here. Our photographers take more than one photo of one pose for each student, giving our families a variety of photos to choose from. We contract with a number of professional photographers to ensure your child’s school pictures look better than ever before. When parents log-in to their child’s online gallery, they are presented with 5-12 images. Once parents have chosen their favorite image(s), they can make their purchase – but they don’t pay until they have seen all of their photos.



Why wouldn’t you make the switch?

We are a different kind of school photography company. We are doing away with envelopes and the archaic system where parents pay for their photos before seeing them. In eliminating the pre-pay envelope system, we have removed all of the administrative hassles that are associated with collecting money and distributing school photos.
How do you do that?
Each family will receive an email to provide an individualized online code and notify them that their photos are available online. Families will only have access to their student’s gallery.
What to Expect
iCLICK Studios is different from other photography companies for many reasons. Families don’t pay for our services until they confirm a purchase on our website. As our photos are usually taken outside, we offer a natural background with multiple poses for families to choose from. We also contract with professional photographers, ensuring the best possible quality of photos for families to choose from.

We will email your school for student information 3-4 weeks before photo day. We request first, last, and preferred names, class, grade, student IDs, and parent email addresses. We will handle most photo day reminders through emails from our company, but it helps to have schools reinforce the dates.

For elementary schools:
Kindergarten 20 minutes per class
1st-5th grade 15 minutes per class
Middle & High schools 15-20 minutes per class. Students are photographed during their PE or English class.

On photo day, teachers will bring their class out during their designated time slot, which is according to a schedule we build with our contact at your school. Classes start with group photos. After group photos are taken, students will be split into smaller groups to move into line at our individual photo stations.

Classes should be lined up shortest to tallest in preparation for class photos. We recommend arriving 5 minutes before your scheduled time to ensure you – and our photographers – aren’t rushed with trying to organize students.
No. Families do not have to pay until they purchase photos via our website.
We prefer taking photos outside with a natural background and natural lighting. We recommend using a garden, a playground, or setting up in a classroom or gym with a faux background.
We will send parents a link to register for retake day shortly after their photos become available online. If families would like to let us know their preferences for photos, there is a spot for families to elaborate on this registration form. If families have concerns, they are welcome to contact us directly by emailing help@iclickstudios.com or submitting a customer service ticket on our website.
Photos will be available online 7-10 days after photos day.
Yes, teachers will receive an additional discount upon checkout. Please contact iClickStudios or your school’s contact for your discount code. Teachers’ discount codes do not expire, even after the 3-week discounted pricing period expires.
