San Mateo Photography Studio | Family Portraits & Professional Headshots

Senior Portraits in Sacramento & the Bay Area capture the spirit and personality of your senior. We offer 90-minute photo sessions with multiple locations and a variety of outfits. Our goal is to capture your personality at this moment in time – whether it is through your love of sports, your artistic side, or your unique personality in general. We want you to look back on these photos with a sense of nostalgia – not with a cringe at the outfits, makeup, or props that were used.

We usually see up to 4 outfits for our senior sessions – one casual, one formal, a hobby outfit, and an outfit that reflects where you are going next (i.e., college shirt, military shirt, etc.). Our best recommendation is to bring outfits that look like you on your best day. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable.

We have the flexibility to travel to your area and will work with you to choose locations. We also have access to hair and makeup stylists to ensure you look your best for your portraits.

After your photo session, you will receive an online photo gallery to review your photos. You will have access to your site for 30 days to compile your portrait order.

Outdoor photography is our specialty. The foothills have virtually limitless photo opportunities for us to explore for your senior portrait session. We are known for capturing natural light against an organic backdrop, creating vibrant, timeless portraits. Many of our seniors already have outdoor locations in mind and we’re happy to customize your session to your location (and you, of course!).

These sessions are usually about an hour to two, depending on what you are ultimately looking for. We have so many options for outdoor portraits around here. We’re always open to exploring a location you may love.

If this sounds interesting, please let me know the best way to connect with you. Portrait consultations are complimentary, so let’s find a time to chat to tailor this experience to you.
