We believe in capturing the spirit and personality of your family. We want to know who you are so we can tailor your portrait session to create beautiful images of your family that can be proudly displayed on the walls of your home. Family portraits are about family, and the best way to capture great images is to work in a comfortable environment. We do nearly all of our work on-location, utilizing natural light as often as possible. Let’s let the kids run around and let everyone be themselves.
THE FAMILY PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE
When booking a portrait session with our studio, you can be confident that our 20+ years of family portrait experience will benefit you in ways you haven’t yet fathomed. Our specialty is outdoor portraiture, and we know locations throughout Northern California and beyond. We will work with you in finding the perfect location for your family photos.
One of the most common questions we get prior to a family photo session from our clients is: What do we wear? We have you covered! We will advise you in creating a look for your family that will compliment where you want to display the finished portraits in your home.
After your session is finished, you will be able to review your images at our studio or via an online share session about 10 days after your session. We will be able to show you all of your images and help you in narrowing down your selections. From there, we can figure out a custom design for a wall in your home.
Our goal is for you to walk away from this experience feeling like you had a blast with the photo session and had a super simple purchasing experience. One that was tailored to suit your family.
FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSION PRICING
Portrait sessions require a $600 deposit.
The deposit pays for a $275 sitting fee and the
remaining $325 is a credit towards your order.
FINISHED PRINTS
We offer a variety of finishes for your portraits. The three most common finishes are Regular, Pebble or Canvas. Regular finished prints are a smooth, lustre finish print that is used when framing with matting and glass. Pebble finished portraits are mounted on a museum-quality mount board and sprayed with a lacquer-style protectant. Canvas mounted portraits are for the client that wants their portrait to make a statement. These prints are mounted to a painters’ canvas and have the texture of a fine oil painting.

DIGITAL FILES PRICING
We offer digital copies of your photos for your holiday cards or your own archives. We require a minimum print order of $600 before we sell a digital file. Individual files are available at $175 per image. Clients who invest $1800 or more on print products will receive a complimentary set of digital files. All print prices include retouching. Individually purchased digital files will be retouched, but the complimentary set of images are not retouched. Digital image resolution is 2000×1300, which will provide prints up to 8×10”.
